Did LSU not deserve to be in teh MNC game last year because they got their shite pushed in?

The year they lost to Oregon state they had a 9 or 10 game winning streak. But guess that doesn't count, since they stole a bid. The BCS is only to pair 1 vs 2. The bowl picks them not the BCS. Plus they were eligible by the rules.
