I'm a burger connoiseur and Brewbacher's serves a mighty fine burger, esp. the Drusilla location.

The truly pathetic thing about Smokey is that thirty years ago he was the one fighting the powers that be in BR Govt. over his head shop on Chimes St.

Damn, you are old. You remember the same things that I do.

He is the definition of hypocrite. Instead of upgrading his restaurants (which could be really good), he has been plowing his profits into his South Texas ranch and his condo in Florida.

Brewbackers pre cooks their burgers in the morning...so when you order one at lunch they just warm them on the grill

Drusilla location USED to cook them to order, but now they are like the other locations and pre cook their burgers as well

I so much miss the Acme book company that was next door. It was the first coffee shop in BR to speak of in the nature they are known by todays standards. Books, magazines, meeting personalities from far and wide.

ETA Magoos and the Bayou were on the street and a tad wilder than anything around campus these days. The fun of Magoos was watching the bikers determine if they were too drunk to drive home. They would jump on the bike and try to start it. They were either able to get it to start or have the starter pedal flip them off the bike.

What is up with the meat at Fat Cow? Tastes like a large breakfast sausage patty rather than fresh ground burger meat
