I used to live in Bham, now in Nola - Chez FonFon is a great Frank Stitts restaurant.. Reasonably priced and no reservation needed. Highlands is his famous one - amazing, but def need reservations. I agree w hot n hot. 26 is another good one. If looking for BBQ, dreamland and Jim n nicks.. GIANNMARCOS is great. Hope this helps. If interested in a chill Sunday brunch check out trattoria centrale in downtown - basically amazing - bunch of chefs from the big Bham restaurants got together and opened it - very affordable and delicious.
