Miles is a very good coach, took over a program on the rise and made it his... 2x SECC 1x BCSC 1x BCS runner up.

He also inherited a program with a foundation set by another coach - a coach that has taken another team to 2x SECC and 2x BCSC.

It's like a sibling thing... anything you have done, are doing, isn't quite what he/she is doing/has done. Your accomplishments are awesome, but you're held in lower regard.

It's gotta suck arse. How do you deal with that situation?

Either you're content doing awesome but being overshadowed or you just hate the shite out of it and want to prove you are better. Which one is Miles?

Miles gameplan last Saturday is one of the reason's people think he can't coach for shite and owes it all to Saban.

Well considering they are 3-3 against each other I wouldn't say miles owes him a damn thing.
Saban owes mark Emmert and taf!

Saban did not make LSU it is completely the opposite. But Miles is proving he is not a good coach. He has reached his peak and from here on out it will be downhill with no brakes.

Except Miles has been for more successful at LSU than Saban was. Saban lost 3 games a year here, except once and even that year he lost to a shitty UF team.

Because Saban built us back from being a shitty arse team, now Miles is coasting on the recruiting and success Saban brought back to LSU.

This is their argument, not necessarily mine.

It's statements like this that makes me hate our entitled fan base. Les Miles just had the greatest SEC season in LSU ( the team you say you love) HISTORY.
ALSO 2008 called and wanted its saying back. Since 2005 no SEC team has won more games than Les Miles. Period. But yeah he is running it into the ground so much that we have the # 3 overall recruiting class. Get a clue.

Thanks for conveniently leaving the last sentence out of my post.

That is what some people believe. No matter the success Miles has from here on, it's because Saban built us back to being relevant and Miles just piled on top of it.

But if you know College Football , you know it's harder to maintain a top 5 program than it is to build one. It's easier to have 2-3 good recruiting classes to build a program than it is to have 5-7 recruiting classes to maintain it. Also last year was all Miles an he had our best SEC season ever , beating ( curb stomping) 8 ranked teams including beating the bcs champ at their house , the PAC 12 champ at a neutral site, an the big east champ at their house. Yeah he really is running us down. When he wins his next two games , HE WILL HAVE THE HIGHEST WINNING % in SEC HISTORY( 100 games min).

At least you're consistently defensive and wrong about Leslie

Well people act like Saban was this elite coach at LSU, which is just false. He brought is back on top but he also lost 3 games a year. I was talking in general.

Are you retarded? Can you comprehend everything I'm typing on here? Because it doesn't appear you can.

I'll give you a comparison of Jimbo Fisher to Bobby Bowden. Bowden built the program and made them a powerhouse for years, now Jimbo has the reins and brings in top 5 recruiting classes every year. What will it take for Jimbo to be considered a great coach?

Please post what I said that was false. You can't. Since Miles was hired there is only 4 teams in all of CFB that have more wins and no SEC team is one of them. Look Miles has his faults an isn't above reproach but the retard , like you, talking about him constantly sucking is laughable. He has more 11 win season than ALL LSU COACHES COMBINES. HE HAS MORE TOP 5 FINISHES THAN ALL LSU COACES COMBINE. THESE ARE FACTS.

Wanna ban bet if Les Miles ever gets another elite job?
The secret is out on your boy,he's not a good coach.
He recruits and always hires a great defensive coordinator thus his record you so love to tout.

It's far harder to maintain an
Elite program than build one. This is common knowledge. Did you see UF during Meyer's last year? Have you seen what happened to Auburn? Did you see how UGA was down after Richt's first few years? Did you see Greg Schiano at Rutger? He built a good program at Rutgers but couldn't maintain a high level. This is common sense Bruh. Which is easier? 2-3 great recruiting classes or 6-7 great recruiting classes. You're getting schooled so I hope you're taking notes. It's common knowledge that its harder to maintain an elite program for 7-8 years than build an elite program for 3-4 years. Sorry.
