When it is all said and done for these two (Coaching), which one will go down as have being the most dominant coach of his football era and respective league?

Saban: 3 National Titles

151–54–1 (college)
15–17 (NFL)
7-6 (bowls)

Belichick: 5x Super Bowl Champ (2 as an Assistant)

Regular season 175–97–0 (.643)
Postseason 17–7 (.708)
Career record 192–104–0 (.649)

Saban

He's getting at least 2 more titles before it's all said & done. The hoodie will be getting none.

Define era for CFB?

Belichick has been to been to 5 Super Bowls through a playoff process in a tougher medium with greater parity that doesn't use "eyeball test" or bias.

I don't really see how this would be close. Saban has 3 Conference Championships and 3 BCS Titles in 12 years as a CFB coach. Do we mention his pro stint?

Belichick IMO. Parity and playoffs make coaching in the NFL much harder than college.

Winning in NFL is way harder then College, NFL is the ultimate coaching gig in football. You have way way more stuff to deal with then college.

Saban couldn't hack it in the NFL. Belichick made the NFL his bitch.

Saban is a great college coach because he is a great recruiter. That's really what the college game is about IMO.

Despite what Saban lovers say he was a horrific NFL coach. Had zero respect in the locker room. He tried his college ways with NFL players and coaches. He really was a laughing stock.

It just wasn't his game.

BB is in another league. One of the leagues best coaches ever. That being said, I don't know how good he would be at the college level. I can't imagine Bill going through all the recruiting crap. He would hate that shite.

Belichick

By a landslide.

We know how good he is.

There is no reason to believe he couldnt do it in college.

We know that $abun could not do his job. (Head Corch in NFL)

NFL success is more impressive to me than colleg success.

That said, Saban will certainly go down as top ten in college football history and probably top three in SEC history.

And he's still only the second best coach Alabama has ever had.
