i'm not being negative, i'm being realistic… when there is something to be overly "positive" about, i wll…. i don't consider a 13-1 or 12-2 season "great", like many of you may…. at the very LEAST, that's to be expected, considering the talent, facilities, fans, and coaching (well, OK maybe not coaching) that we have here now at LSU….

trust me if we were hitting on all cylinders, i'd acknowledge it…. i wouldn't join any weekly circlejerks like some of you do, but i'd acknowledge it… i have a pretty high bar as far as my expectations for LSU and their football program, so i'm sorry if my point of view is different than yours…. but you could always do like i do when i see a bunch of "sunshine pumping" on the rant, and just not read it, reply to it, etc…

We just hope you don't send her to an all-boys school because you obviously don't have the proficiency to understand which board is appropriate for your criticism.

This board has pretty much always policed itself. The consensus has always been to keep the bitching about the team elsewhere so we would prefer you not post your opinions about them here.
In the simplest way I can think of to communicate our view...

sorry, expecting 13-1 or 12-2 every year is unrealistic, and if that's what's you expect, then there is nothing special about it.

so expecting 3 or more losses is ACCEPTABLE?? maybe back in 95-96, when i was fricking ECSTATIC that we would even make the Independence Bowl….
times have changed for a majority of the fan base…. elite seasons are expected…. i know we cannot and will not win a National Championship every year, but i do expect to have a shot at the SEC every year, with our talent alone... let's be honest… pre-season everyone is saying it's us and Bama… and now, we have a loss, with a possible 2 more on the way…. i'm not going to say we "do" lose these, but looking at the attrition, and how the respective teams are CURRENTLY performing, it's hard to conclude, if you step back and take an unbiased view, otherwise….
look, i LOVE the Tigers… always have (my earliest memories are in my back yard being Tommy Hodson, since he was from the same town as i am), and always will be a huge LSU supporter in all sports, but when they ain't doing hot, i'm going to say they ain't doing hot….
