I watched it and wasn't overly impressed. It was a decent watch, but the next couple of episodes will need to grab me or i'll stop.

I have no knowledge of comics or Green Arrow. I thought it was a modern day take on Robin Hood.

Just a thought....I did stick with The Cape for 8 episodes. It ended at 10. I didn't miss much. Arrow will get its chance with me.

I watched the Cape for a few episodes. You really thought the Cape and Arrow were of the same quality? Not talking about premise. I'm talking about the show as a whole.

Arrow pilot >>>>>>>>>>>> Cape pilot imo

I am looking forward to watching this. I have always loved Oliver Queen as a character. A Tony Stark type with an environmental and anarchist streak. I hope Black Canary will be prominent in this as the characters really go well with each other and help to explain each other. If CW can pull this off I will have hope of the other DC show they are developing right now...Amazon. They are supposedly doing a pre-costume show about Wonder Woman with Smallville's approach. After David E. Kelly's horrible pilot, this will have to be good to get to air.

Ok, so after watching the Pilot again tonight, there are a billion and one hints about "more happening on the island, than physically possible".. can't wait to find out what the hell happened on Hell..

I'm a big fan of Oliver Queen. Loved the pilot. I think the show has potential.

Start an episode thread. I think Arrow picked up enough fans to warrant individual ep threads.

Good episode--even with the low body count. I'm interested to see who the other Archer was on the island. I don't think that's canon, but of course, neither is China White meeting Ollie for the first time in the city.

ETA: And why was the journal blank. Secret writingor are we to assume Ollie filled it in?

I didn't see it yet but the mention of another archer reminds that I did dislike them using Merlyn's name for his shitdick friend. That's not Merlyn. This is Merlyn.

He actually appeared correctly in Smallville
