Rantards and negatigers need to summa donna. We have just lost one game, in the SEC, on the road, in the Swamp, to a top ten UF team (#1 team if the BCS came out today). Nothing to be ashamed of, we had our chances for a victory even with how bad our offense played. How would you like to be an FSU fan this week. One loss and your BCS championship run is over. Not in the SEC. Hell, we won the natty with two losses.
The problems this year are due to offensive players making mistakes PERIOD! I have never seen a football team shoot themselves in the foot with the same bullet as many times as i have seen LSU do thus far in the season. The bullet is dropped passes, turnovers and offensive penalties. Injuries are part of the game and should never be an excuse. If the plays are executed, the game plan works. Les can't control the bullet and he is not going to throw his players under the bus after bad individual performances. Bottom line, you can only run plays your offensive players are capable of executing. If the players can't catch, like to fumble, and commit penalties, Les has little chance at Victory no matter what play is called and we all know Les has a Want for Victory! So quit complaining about the play calling. Pass more, drop and intercept more. Run more, fumble more. It is execution.
I agree the offense has not looked better, but the defenses we have played are getting tougher, which is compounding the scrutiny of the offense. Give the coaches some time and the players some more experience and this offense will begin to maul defenses. Starting this Saturday Night in Death Valley.

You forgot they need more execution with the rb jump pass.is that the same bullet or a different one?

Why have penalties, turnovers, dropped passes, missing offensive assignments, etc always been a problem since Les got here?
Lack of discipline.
Lack of discipline.

key injuries damn sure matter. they aren't an excuse, they are a REASON that certain aspects of the game struggle. our OL is patchwork and rarely can they play a series w/o a penalty or missed assignment. and it's a different player. they will improve but there's pretty much no other part of a team that the experience of playing togehter like the OL (and the secondary).

The problem with this statement is that Les is the head coach and he deverves the blame for this "bullet". When a team lacks discipline, mental toughness and the ablity to make adjustments, it is the head coaches fault.

Oh, let them vent their displeasure.
Its been like 18 season weeks since they could last vent over a regular season loss.
Some of them might have become rusty with their going off the deep end technique and they need to polish it up.

You make it seem like Les is 0% at fault, which isn't true. The bottom line is the recent struggles have nothing to do with just 'one' thing. Injuries to the OL, inexperience at QB and WR, lack of execution, and Les are all pieces of this puzzle. This team has shown itself to be undisciplined at times and that starts with coaching. However, as I said it's everything combined together that hurts. The results on the field have more to do with the collective problems than anything. All they can do is fix what can be fixed and move on. Lot of football left to be played, and as a true fan I hope it all works out. If not, then so be it. They aren't going to win every game, every year

Your perspective is spot on.......but you do lack TD juice.
