I get that the Yankees get higher ratings, but come on. That doesn't mean that they should get preferential treatment for EVERY SINGLE GAME OF THE PLAYOFFS. I'm not asking for anything ridiculous. Maybe just one of their 5 games could be in the middle of the afternoon. ONLY ONE. WOULD THAT HURT ANYONE? How do we know if the Nationals can attract a national audience IF THEY NEVER GET A CHANCE TO ATTRACT ONE?

They've been on national TV on ESPN plenty this year. So have the Yankees. Guess who rated higher?

Yes. Let's put NY on at 3 in the afternoon so the west coast can watch at lunch.

They just this year pulled out of the bottom-third of attendance. If they can put asses in the seats at the stadium, what makes you think they can pull a national audience?

you say preferential treatment, network folk say higher ratings.

I think it'd be great if they mixed it up, but admittedly my only involvement is as a fan and not as a money guy.
