I LOVE the Smashing Pumpkins and they were so awful I left and got drunk in the Quarter to drowned my sorrows of how awful they were and how epically disappointing the show was!

please dont lump daft punk in with skrillex

i was at her post because its pretty much out of the realm of possibility that we would be graced with daft punk

i'm gonna quietly duck out of this thread

most of ya'lls music taste is so pedestrian that we can't have a decent discussion about music.

the best bands at festivals are always the smaller ones because they try harder because they have to compete for attention. the headliners are usually the worst sets at music festivals

What!

If Daft Punk replaced them I would be there with bells on. They have paramedics there, somebody will deliver the baby.
I like Skrillex too, but that wouldn't be my choice of venues to see him.

I don't know if I would say worst, but I don't completely disagree with your statement.

no, they're known bands, they're just not headliners

my prediction for the best sets at voodoo this year, in no particular order:

avett brothers
silversun pickups
mstrkrft guy
revivalists
anders osbourne

various others

I don't think Voodoo could afford Daft Punk. It's just wishful thinking on my part.
