A member of our camp has gotten a hookup on bulk corn. The problem is how do we transport it the 45 miles and keep it dry once we get it to our camp? TIA

Drums, thats what we use, we get in bulk also in super sacks and transfer to drums and seal them

If you are not already set up to deal with bulk corn there is really no inexpensive way to do it

I say bulk, but I really just need one of those containers on that trailer. I'm trying to track one of those containers that hasn't had pesticide or some chemical in it. How many lbs can you fit in one of those?

Thanks for the zip lock idea chad never thought of that

Thanks man, I'm in Shreveport, so I am a little out of your way. I don't think I'll be down there in the near future.

I'll get in touch with my fil. He uses those and other large drums for water storage at the camp. I'll ask him where he got them at.

It's not the cost, it's the time. I need to get the corn within the next week or so and I don't know when I could make it down there before then.

LSUROSS maybe we could work something out for gas and you could bring them back and keep one of them....

I don't know if it's worth the time and gas to go get 2 totes, you can usually get them for about $100 used.
