I am usually fine the next day, with the exception of the Nat champ game last year. I am still mad about that.

Thirty years ago, when I was student at LSU and seemed to live for Saturday nights, the losses (and there were many) did ruin my weekend. These days, the infrequent losses are only a temporary distraction. However, I must admit that I loosen up my grip on the debit/credit cards with my wife and daughters after a big win!

I can't watch or listen to any college football talk from national media after a loss. I listen to the local stuff, but I can't stand to hear Mark May laugh at our offense after a game like that.

The bcs game in january really affected my mood for days. I was so pumped the whole season, even joined TD after the Oregon game, and each time we clobbered someone, I was pumped the whole week.
Now, after the major letdown, I feel almost comatose. It's weird, it's like losing doesn't even bother me that much. Maybe it's because I don't live in BR anymore.

It depends on HOW they lose.
If they keep it close to the end and play well, it could be disappointing but I'd get over it pretty quickly.
If they just fart around on the field with poor plays and little energy, at least on the offense's part (à la 1/9 and last night), that's especially frustrating. Though, I was mad about 1/9 much longer since the "resolution" wasn't until the beginning of the next season and last night's game could be avenged next week - plus a loss seemed inevitable anyway.

There has been too much good quality football and baseball on tv this weekend to let it be spoiled by LSU. Yes, I am disappointed with their performance but come next Saturday, I will be at TS rocking my purple and gold with everyone else.

Used to bother me badly. Now a couple hours of rage and I am over it. Gotta remember it is just sports. Damn it took me over 35 years to just say that.

it used to bother me a whole lot more than it does now. i quickly learned to put things in perspective and realize how unimportant sports teams really are in the grand scheme of things...

While I was in school my team had a 17 game losing streak and I had attended every home game during the streak which always ruined my weekend , but when I graduated I could careless how we did.

I have a long week of school and work ahead of me. I was hoping to have two undefeated teams coming to BR this weekend, so it will ruin this week for sure.
In general, I don't sulk in losses though.
