Fortunate Song is the "Welcome to the Jungle" of CCR. Great song when you first hear it but after listening to it 10,000 times and exploring the rest of their music, it's not so great.

Well like that's your opinion man...
But seriously, the reason I never get tired of Fortunate Son is because I know it has a meaning. Not even to my generation, but to the era of Vietnam.
