That bayou is normally called Bayou Paranee (sp?) and runs all the way into Lake Dautrieve and Fausse Point. Fishing in the late summer and fall can be very good once the water clears a little bit. In the spring it usually is too muddy to fish.There are a bunch of rice fields to the north of Henderson that drain into it keeping the water muddy. I have caught some pretty good stringers in the past there.

Doubt i'm gonna make there today, but gonna try to squeeze in a day this week if I can.
If it looks muddy as hell, we'll drop in the other side of levee.
