I've got a blued 19 that has been through the ringer multiple times, good pistols. Bought a 29 in nickel and have regretted the finish ever since, not the pistol. Enjoy.

Congrats!
I bought a 19 about 25 years ago, put some rubbery pachmeyer grips on it, a little trigger job... and still loving it. It makes me look like I can shoot.
6" barrel a little long, but I'm used to those problems.
