I mean, he's going to be an option for the front office.

In terms of CFs, there is nothing out there. Aside from Bourn you have Upton and Victorino in the FA market.

Trade wise, you have a guy like Bourjos, who will at least give plus defense. Not sure many other CFs that can hit leadoff will be out there.

I think there's like a 98% chance Prado is our 3B next year.

Yea, its going to be Prado. The question is who is in center and left. Do they resign bourn? If so, how much did his late season swoon cost him?

Good question. I can't even begin to guess what his market is going to look like right now.

But with limited options at CF, I'm sure someone will still vastly overpay. Maybe even the Phillies.

I'm curious to see the market for Hamilton as well. If the Braves decide to trade for someone young and cheap like Bourjos, the money could be there for them to at least talk to him. Not that I think we would ever land him.

I still think Swisher will be one of the main guys we're connected to.

Don't want Hamilton. His wad is blown by June.

Who do you want, if you are limited to Free Agent guys that can play LF?

Agree about Prado. I think a lot of it comes down to who we can get though.

Don't want Hamilton. Dude is way more trouble than he is worth. The chances of him relapsing again during the season are 50/50 at best.

I would rather sign Victorino than Swisher, from a strict likeability standpoint.

Yeah, Swisher is as big of a douche as there is.

Him and Uggla would do some damage.

Hamilton just has all those issues that are red flags and I am extremely uncomfortable handing him 18 mill a year for 4 years. He has had problems finishing seasons.

Understandable, and I have those same worries. But any guy we go after is going to have question marks. None as big as Hamiltons, though.

Not that I think that it will happen, but I love JUP.

Delmon Young maybe? He's kind of insane, but he wouldn't be nearly as expensive as someone like Swisher or Hamilton.

Yeah, he would be ideal. Especially financially.

I was going to throw him out there but didn't.

I'd be disappointed with that, though.

I shouldn't be like this, but with the way Wren has talked so far makes me really hopeful for a successful offseason. I'm expecting at least one big move. Delmon Young would not fit into that.

As for Gattis, you can't be 25 years old in AA ball and get injured. He's going to need to progress quickly next year.

If I knew we could convince BJ Upton to turn into a true leadoff guy, I wouldn't mind looking into that, but he is never going to become that kind of player.

Could easily see us as one of the main teams in on him.
