Barbe's D hasn't looked so got thus far. They have the best offense in the state, but that doesn't matter if they're on the sidelines. Barbe very well might blow them out. Choosing chalk all the time is boring though.
Exactly. The offense can't shine if they aren't on the field. A team like Acadiana is tailor-made to beat a team like Barbe. By pounding the ball with the veer and eating up the clock, they keep opponents' offenses on the sidelines.
I'm not sure how Acadiana is this season, but it seems like they always reload and have a new stable of workhorses that are always good for 5-6 yards a pop; and 5 hosses up front that maul defensive lines.

O.P Walker's defense is fricking stout! They shut out McDonogh 35 yesterday 36-0. The Battle of Algiers this year against Karr will be incredible.
McMain plays De La Salle tonight in a big 10-3A game. The Mustangs looks to remain undefeated in the Uptown League.

quote:Beckwith is a one man band.He isn't that noticeable on defense but on offense my god. Went to zachary/east fel game and he slung off every body on zachary's defense then hit the reciever in stride with a 70 yard missile. They play sandlot football he runs around and the athletic recievers look like they run a scramble drill. PBS is disciplined but his ability could make it interesting.

U-High 35 Episcopal 3 at halftime. Already chippy, will be shocked if the personal foul flags don't go flying in the second half. Their boys kind of taking offense at the waxing.
