Every fan of a successful non-NOLA team is a bandwagoner these days.

Oddly enough, Joe Orsulak is my mom's favorite Oriole ever. Mine is Rich Dauer. I used to wear my socks high like he did. I also did my best to reproduce his batting average in little league.

And the war continues. Our good friends are in a season ticket group. They have precisely one extra ticket for the game tomorrow, and they'd love for one of us to go...

... I think I'm going to go to a game just to get a head start on fleeing the Metroplex in case of an Oriole victory.

That is, quite literally, the dumbest question you've ever asked me. Of course I will. And I'll yell "O!" during the national anthem (which has gotten me in trouble at the Ballpark before).

my wife's a viking fan from minnesota. during the NFC championship game, she was 8 1/2 months pregnant.

i thought she was going to go into labor when favre threw the pick because she was so angry.

i had to keep my saints victory celebration to a minimum that night for my own good.

Hey I just didn't know how much you valued your health.

That place may go up in flames in the O's win.

Talk about collapse.

My first game at the Ballpark was an Oriole game. After the O's lost in extra innings, as I walked to my car, I pickup truck full of rednecks pulled up next to me to taunt. I responded that I'm an Orioles fan, what more could they do to me?

I think it was two years ago when Adam "Not Pac-Man" Jones hit a grand slam in the 9th to force extras. I watched that game with my wife, who went on a profanity laced tirade. When she finished, I just stood up and did the slow clap. She left me at the game and I had to take a cab home.

Totally worth it.

And I've worn Orioles gear in Fenway and Yankee Stadium. The Ballpark don't scare me.

Baloo, Mrs. Cocks is a tOSU fan and I of course am an LSU fan. So we had a similar situation in January of 2008. It really changes the dynamic of the house. You can't make jokes about really anything that you normally would, because it's somehow gonna be taken offensively.

The reaction was slightly different in the Stagg household.
