TC by far...for one person in today's world to lead in avg. rbis and hrs is almost unbelievable. Too much diversity
It's 3 arbitrary counting stats, while it is very rare, that doesn't make it harder to accomplish. Plus RBIs are an opportunistic stat. You can't exactly "try" to lead that category.
Perfect game by far is harder. You have to be lights out for 27 straight batters. Because it happens more often than a triple crown doesn't make it any easier.

Regardless of their MLB or AAAA status, it's still a perfect game.

theres a whole lot of 'who is that' on that list
& every hitter that has won the triple crown since 1901 is in the HOF

Triple crown
It does depend a lot on timing though. Not only does the player have to have a great year, he has to avoid someone going apeshit and really tearing up one particular stat.

I don't follow baseball. Are there no no-power spray hitters anymore? (that's what prevents TCs even when great hitters are playing)

Not really. Because a guy who hits 330 but doesn't draw any walks and can't hit for power is actually an offensive negative. Guys with "empty" averages are going the way of the dinosaur.

Kind of flawed logic. A batter has to play an entire season for a triple crown (or at least a good majority of a season).
A pitcher has ~30 chances a year for a perfect game. So over a 15-year career, he'll have about 450 shots to throw a perfect game. A batter with the same length career has 15 chances.

Yeah a whole season vs. one game is what it comes down too... Statistically being the best in 3 of the major categories batting wise seems pretty tough to me

unless he has a lot of speed

You can look at this as it's really easy to go 0-4 and still win the triple crown (relatively speaking in that i'm sure miggy had an 0-4 day this season) but you can't frick up a single thing and get a perfect game.
Not sure which i think is more impressive though. Probably a perfect game.

whats harder to do.

Obviously pitching a perfect game while hitting for the cycle is the hardest

Sure you can. You can hang that curve ball out over the plate and the batter can rip it. As long as your defense can make the play, you're good.
You can definitely frick up (to a decent degree) and still throw a perfect game.

Triple Crown
Season > Single Game
20 Strikeouts > Anything in baseball
Season > Single Game
20 Strikeouts > Anything in baseball

Yeah most perfect games and no hitters are a result of excellent defense. It's not like they stike out 27 batters. There are usually line drives caught and diving plays made.
Triple crown is damn near impossible these days with these HR numbers we have.

I've seen that happen 4 times, I've never seen anyone hit .400 (nor do I think I will)

I vote for 2 cycles in one game.
