With all due respect, why waste money getting a Glock with a slimmer grip when you can buy a handgun that already has it? I also think the SR9 and M&P far surpass Glock in terms of grip slimmness, grip angle, sights, and features from the factory.

The SR99 and the M&P do not surpass the G19 in terms of reliability.

I will never bury my SR9c for 10 years and expect to use it later. Those reliability tests are horeshit because I would never administer that type of crap to my guns.

My Ruger SR9c has yet to have a failure. When it does, I will bow down to the Glock gods. I also have yet to see an M&P fail. My opinion still holds. The Glock "reliability" moniker is a thing of the past. My Beretta has also been 100% for 8000-9000 rounds so I'll lump that in there as well. I will not trump Glock for not being reliable and being a bad gun though. It deserves respect, it's just not godly like all the hype.

And to the OP, when you and your daughter go to hold them, the match will be made. Good luck on your search.
