I need to get better at this game. I am a decent defender, but my goodness am I terrible at getting a decent shot off in this game. My guy is about 25%FG 40%FT through 10 games. My FT percentage is climbing because I finally have that timing down, but my guys FT stat isn't great so even Bs miss sometimes.

My biggest problem is that pass and cuts don't seem to work for me. I pass and then try to cut but get bombarded by the d and stuck in a 5 second animation trying to fight a guy off.

In past games, I dominated the mid-range and pass and cuts.

Through 10 games I am averaging about 3ppg, 3apg, 2rpg, 1spg in about 10 minutes per game. Almost all my points seem to come off steals or the rare chance that the d leaves me wide open for a deep 2 and I get the timing decent.

And I don't understand my coach at all. I am 6ft PG and yet against the Spurs they subbed me in at PF...yeah.

I think they got it just right in this game. In 2k11 it was way too easy to cut inside. In 2k12 is was pretty much impossible to cut inside. This year I've had a lot of success running the pick and roll. Both for assists and freeing myself for open shots. If you want points, boost up your shot off dribble, and shoot in traffic then live off of coming off screens with the ball. Get the timing for your leaner down and you'll have a pretty effective way of scoring. They AI will eventually catch on and will start sending two when you call for the screen, that's when you hit the guy rolling to the basket.
