Will there be a new permanent location for the Deutsches Haus?

This time of year brought this to mind- I get pissed thinking about it, but does anyone know what they will be doing about a permanent new location for the Deutsches Haus?

Last I heard they were looking in to land near the old Mercy hospital (across from Liuzza's). Not sure how that is developing though (I'll have to ask my buddy).
They will be holding the Octoberfest in the same location for another couple years though (I think they signed a 3 year agreement with Kenner).

The owner of the lot on Bienville across from Liuzza's raised the price of the lot when they knew that the Deutches Haus was looking to purchase it. Last I heard, it was going to be around Bayou St. John.
