And peter abandoning Walter and olivia is something believable because thats just part of his character we have seen the past 6 years?

He didn't abandon them, he chose a different quest. They were trying to save the world while he was trying to save his daughter. I don't find it that unbelievable. It seems more unbelievable that Olivia would choose saving the world over going after her own daughter.

actually, yes it does. Oddly enough, it matches up perfectly with what we had been shown in Season 3 and 4. (even going back to season 1 & 2.. will get back to this in a second)

In season 3 - we see that Peter wishes to reset the timeline because of 2 things:

A) The loss of Olivia in the future, and a future that has his family separated and in disarray. Peter has always been extremely loyal to family.. we can only assume he would be extremely loyal to the child that he always wanted.. we see his desire for a child even in a world that is falling apart (season finale, season 3).. he WANTS a child that bad, how much more would he want to PROTECT that child once she was alive?!

B) He lost a child in the future, he killed his own child in the Redverse, this broke him in the season finale of season.. completely broke his heart on so many levels, he is all about family.. that's just what he does.

We also see in season 4 that he has such a strong connection to the people he loves: that he can actually come from nowhere (had been erased from existence, nobody even knew who he was!) and manifest himself into existence. You know that saying - you do not know real love until your first child..? Do you really think his love for Etta would not have been even stronger than the very love that brought him back INTO existence from nothing..? And you think he would just abandon that girl!?!?!

Now.. season 1 and 2 - Peter is also loyal to family, in season 2 he left the blueverse all together in order to be with his real dad and mom in the redverse..

In season 1, 2, and 3 he is constantly talking about leaving the fringe team and going back to his life away from it all - he doesn't even have that strong of a connection to the "Fringe" team.. only to his family.

I've seen you in Fringe threads before so I know you're no troll but a little advice.

You don't want to get into a debate with BA on Fringe. On top of that, he's called on Fear for backup.

If you do choose to continue, I would suggest starting a Chuck Sucks thread. It will send Fear into a blind rage and BA will have to go there to calm him down.

They're the Spike and Butch of the M/TV Board.
