Why the hell would he go there? Also, Francona has never shown the ability to build mediocre teams into winning teams like a Buck Showalter or Davey Johnson. He took a team that was one boneheaded Grady Little decision away from going to the World Series and took them over the top. When he was in Philadelphia, the Phillies didn't win squat. This move wouldn't make much sense from either side.
