I just released a new zombie serial on Kindle if anyone is interested. Walking Dead-ish in nature and will be updated with new content every quarter

How do we find it? Sorry if you've already posted the info.

Just search Hollow Shell on amazon. I don't want to post links because the admins may frown on that.

I enjoyed World War Z, but I don't think Zombies would walk on the bottom of the ocean.

I really appreciate it, guys.

I'll be updating a new section (continuing the story) every quarter. I love my cover art. Guy did a great job on it. Kindle is fun for a serial because I get my other stuff traditionally published, but it'd be hard to convince a publisher to print tiny chap books for each edition of Hollow Shell

Yeah. Haven't seen Season 2 finale since its original airing, and my recollection is they were looking up at the prison at the end. Now it is ~ 6 months later and just entering the compound? Ah, well, great episode.

It's gotta be about 7-8 months since the farm based on the pregnancy alone. They skipped all of winter which I don't blame them because filming a winter show while in the Georgia heat is brutal. So in 7 months they have literally been all over the map but suddenly Rick finds the prison on accident after a short walk in the woods?

Hershel grows a beard. Carl has long hair. TDog still freshly shaved and Sophia's mom hasn't needed a haircut in almost a year??

Where is Hershel gonna get these seeds for a garden?

In 7 months, how are they not out of gas?

I really liked how stealth-like and efficient this group was. They were orderly and you can tell Rick is really leading them, as opposed to Shane who tried to manage through fear tactics.

Rick >>> Shane all day, fwiw

I imagine seeds wouldn't be hard to come by. People would loot food and supplies. Seeds, not so much.

Yeah, I mentioned that earlier. It's pretty cool to see them clear a room, and they all now have some basic zombie killing skills. Other than Lori's miserable attitude, there doesn't really seem to be any dead weight.

I did wonder aloud why Herschel was brought on that mission in the first place when Rick was telling Carl why he had to stay back. Turns out I got my answer shortly after that. To drive the plot.

Like I said earlier, the drama should be stepped up with the group now, because it won't be self-inflicted stupidity causing it. There will be other factors at play (I'm guessing based on the end of the episode, the sort preview of the season, and the better decision making they've displayed as a group).

Yeah, Hershel was too important to go on that mission. Carl was too young. They both should have stayed.

Should have stayed with the women. He could have helped do something around there to keep everything in order, or spruce it up.

Yeah I said out loud to myself "self, why the hell is Hershel going?" It was a good episode and sets up a lot for the season to build off of.
