Could be right but we and Bama both have to offer 1st or he's not a battle we'll be concerned with at all. If we hold on to Daub, land Kenny Young(which is likely if we offer) and somehow get Cameron Hampton, do we have room for Marbley? Also why is Marbley's size not an issue but Darian Claiborne's was? FTR, I don't think either's size should be an issue but size is why we didn't pursue Claiborne.

I also don't see how Marbley fits at Bama. He's short and undersized(at this point) both of which are not what Bama looks for at LB. Unless they think he can play S, I don't see Bama really pursuing Marbley.(also unless he grows of course). If Kwon Alexander was too small then Marbley is and just going out on a limb here, Alexander is the better talent.

Marbley is impressive and I would have no issues with us taking a hard look or even offering. What is going on in LA? Are we all of a sudden gonna start producing SEC caliber LBs?

i was just going off of this, frank wilson is listed as his recruiter and burton burns for bama so who knows at this point

Are you sure this is the reason? Seems odd since LSU has taken guys like Tahj and Debo.
