Drew Brees streak scenario

We're on prime time television vs the Chargers. Chargers whoop us all game. We're down lets say like 34-6 late in the 4th quarter on nat'l telelvision. Our team is 0-4 heading into this game and we get the ball back with 3 minutes left in game. Do you send drew back into game with sole purpose of continuing/breaking the streak? Would it be viewed as cheap if he broke under this scenario?

normally a team would pull the starter if getting beat down that bad that late. remember brady i think came out of game when we beat them down bad.

Cheap? No way, he has done this for 48 consecutive games, not just that one.
And he would be in regardless. We don't bench our QB if the game is bad. That would be giving up and we don't do that in the NFL. We aren't the Patriots

Let's get through the GB game with the streak intact before we start worrying about the Chargers game. Frankly after the second half Sunday, I'm worried. Forget TDs, the guy had no COMPLETIONS for 24 freakin' minutes.
