Game froze and apparently didn't autosave my job offer acceptance.

I don't much about the international teams but which of these would be fun to play with: Finland, South Africa, Venezuala, and Chile?

South Africa. Pienaar and Tshabalala on the wings.

But I'm a big SA fan.

Definitely SA or Chile. Don't even consider the other two.

Chile is the best out of those though.

Okay, bit of a dilemma for me. Reina isn't happy with how much he's being paid, but he's not playing great. I have him for the rest of my first season regardless, so do I bump his wages up the $30K he wants or should I let him go and sign a new GK (fwiw, the board put him on the transfer list outside the window because I kept stalling on his pay).

Any thoughts?

Kinda the way I'm leaning, I have to deal with him till season's end anyways, so ill have plenty of time to find a suitable replacement to offer

In Season 3 at Chelsea I had
- 93M pounds in the bank
- Three 5* scouts
- Bought Hummels, Ozil, Busquets, Pique, and Pato
- A youth academy full of 60-70+ prospects with potential of 90+
- Just signed a 17 y/o ST 72 OVR with potential 91-94
- Was playing in the "world championship" as France's manager; beat Belgium in the round of 16 and the game froze and freezes everytime in the same place...

i got fired from wycombe in season 2 and signed on with watford, who was actually in a league above

selling off most of the players and just buying young guys all over the place. i have a 6-8 CB and a 6-8 ST

lots of 18-21 year old starters. going to see how they develop over a season or 2

*ETA: mostly just doing sim for the games

The new youth stuff is awesome... They actually progress a ton on loan and 1-2+ in reserves, more if they play a good bit.

My youth academy is phenomenal. If it wouldnt freeze so much for me this would be the best FIFA I've played. I like the game play enough bu tthe additions to career are awesome.

ETA: When offered a loan stall and make sure they'll start or are close to the best at the position, that way they progress the most.

Good call, didn't even worry about that in 12, because they didn't tell you how much they'd play and they never progressed. Will keep it in mind

nobody ever progressed in 12

i think 13 has made finding superstars slightly too easy again. they need more rare potential stars but progression like 2013

As much as I've said I've hated the away goal rule in 2-legged tournaments. I love it now.

I'm in the semis of the Euro League now and my KO stages are as follows

LIV 1 @ CSK 2
CSK 0 @ LIV 1

LIV 2 @ New Castle 4
New Castle 1 @ LIV 3

Just watched United vs. Spurs again. So frustrated that I am going to put Villa on hold to attempt world domination with the virtual Red Devils. Sell Nani and Scumbag Jonny Evans, go get a Marouane Fellaini or a Joao Moutinho. Build the world's greatest youth academy. Win a freaking trophy this season.

Step aside, Sir Alex. I'm taking the controller.

Who would you go after as a strong ball-winning midfielder...Moutinho, Fellaini, or someone else?

I don't necessarily think United's midfield problems will be healed with one player. They need a defensive presence to protect the back 4 and someone energetic to keep up with more mobile midfields. Fellaini has shone this year particularly because of Cahill's departure. Moyes has been able to move him a bit more forward and he has thrived.

Put him in United's midfield and I think Sir Alex moves him to a bit more resigned role, and you lose that spark that he has put on display this year.
