Right call?

I say yes, you can get greedy and lose the game.

Take the points, take the lead...

Good call coach...though as a fan I wanted to go for it so we could score another TD and open up the game

Smart and shows Les was thinking with his brain not his cajones. Could have blown the game with a macho type call. Hey we got the W

I told the LSU fan sitting next to me when someone said go for it, if LSU goes for this on fourth down it would be the worst call in college football history.

your in field goal range down by 1

you have a kicker who makes it most the time

your offense has done NOTHING all game

their offense has done nothing all game with the exception of two drives where they got good field position

get the lead take the point. IF miles went for it didn't get it and we didn't have a chance to score after that and we lost by 1 this entire board would be calling for miles head.

absolutely the correct call. Had the kick been missed, I would still say absolutely the right call.

That was the right call. At the end of the game however I may have went for it, to eat up more clock. It could have been blocked or if he had made it, they get another play on the kick off to make something happen. But it worked out and LSU won.
