Best Pizzas in America 2012

Ran across this earlier today and oddly, Reginelli's is on the list for the South. It's not even the best pizza in New Orleans, much less the south.
They need to get a new panel IMO.

I used to like Reginelli's, but every time I've been there recently it's gotten worse and worse. No way it should be on the list

I like Reginelli's. I think lists like that are pretty dumb though.

i do too. its one of the better natural hand tossed pizzas in the area. I really like their toppings too. Their thick cut pepperonis are the tits, especially when they are charred a little.

totally agree. I love the toppings. My problem is they hardly ever put any sauce on their pizzas these days (at least the last two dozen or so times I've been there) so it's like eating a flat bread

I could use a little more sauce now that you bring it up. I get the shrimp pesto pizza pretty often over there, which is not the type of pizza I normally get, so the lack of a sauce isn't as evident. But when I get the pepperoni and eggplant or something like that, I could use some more. Overall good pizza though.

John's in NYC is outstanding. Eat there every time I go up to the Big Apple.
