My freshman year at NLU was the year Stan Humphries, Roosevelt Potts, Stephen Garcia and Jackie Harris kicked arse in 1-AA. I went to every home game and 2 of the away games. That stadium is a lot of fun when it gets packed. Not "SEC" fun, but still fun, none the less. I still think the move to 1A was the worse decision by the administration, but I do understand the money implications.

Anyway -- I'm picking NLU, ahem, ULM to win this game by 7.

Baylor pulls away in the second half, wins by 14+.

Just left the grove.....there are already tons of folks out there...and dare I say it is somewhat "electric" out there. (By no means LSU electric, but for Monroe, it is something else...) Gonna be the biggest ULM game in history, no doubt. The Hawks actually expect to win, which is a different attitude than they've had in recent years. (They were disappointed at the Auburn loss). I'd like to see them do well...would be good for the City.
