at drafting defensive players period. You can slice and dice it anyway you want they suck at drafting defensive players

Porter was a good pick. Jenkins isn't bad.
Ellis has been turrible.

Blame Payton and co. for always taking the best available athlete, mostly offensive, and not drafting enough defensive players. And trading up and taking a listless Mark Ingram!

Hicks should be inserted now, nothing to lose. I'm tired of seeing a much too small Ellis always getting blown off the line of scrimmage.

Cam gets no pressure on the qb at all. The sack he got was after he was stuffed, and the qb was flushed right at him.
Since Smith and Jordan aren't really helping stop the run anyway, they need to get Tez and Junior in there. Both guys got pressure on Newton in the few snaps they played. Cam is better at DT. Ellis is just awful, and should be replaced by Cam and Hicks.

I'm not saying he was. The person I replied to said he is looking like a Smith clone. I said from the beginning he was a bad pick because he is best fit to play DE in a 3-4.
