What bait caster do you get the most bang for your buck with?

I'd get the H20 mettle over the black max. Black max pawl will be fricked in a year or less. Book it.

I have two really old round ones that are dying from pawl issues. I sad. Love those things.

You might still be able to find replacement parts for it. A pawl isn't very hard to change out

I received a BPS Pro Qualifier as a gift earlier this year. I love my Curados, but the Pro Qualifier is a great reel so far.

Really though, I'd spend another $20 for a revo if you want the orra. I have one and the revo is that much better. The pawl on my brothers orra also fricked up pretty quick.

The revo was more than a $20 increase. $99 for Orra and $170 for revo. The Orra inshore looked solid too

Ive had bad luck with cheap bait casters. I pretty much stick to Shimano Curado or Citicas.

A revo S was at $130 when I bought all mine, and they dropped them to $120 iirc. The SX is $170 but it's a damn fine reel

Pretty sure I've never paid over $79.95 for a reel, if that.

That's outrageously cheap, the lowest price I found on eBay was 130

Nah, all of my revos were demos in a glass case somewhere. Only one had a problem, I easily fixed it.

JackD, the curado I paid $130 for. The revos I paid $80 a piece for, except for one I got for $50, and I won a revo S from Abu's website for writing a review on an orra. I got an orra on eBay for like $80 new in box too.
