How much was this game an anomaly for Drew Brees?

had to look it up...

Last game with a lower passer rating (70.9)? 2009 @ Miami and still won that one

Last time less than 50% completed? 2006 Week 15 vs. Giants, 13 of 32

2 to 5 years before those happening again and we should be fine

Giants game was windy as hell and our D dominated

This game was in a dome. I was in shock after the first 2 series, he was like 1/5 and RG3 was perfect.

I think all the turmoil this offseason has a lot to do with it. The distractions have to be put aside. Easier said then done.

A bunch of batted down balls, those always make me nervous.

I can't believe his passer rating this game was worse than Cleveland.

IMO he played decent on Sunday. Was the victim of a ton of drops.

He flat out sucked in the Cleveland game. He was literally a shell of his former self.

poor O-line play
Brees pressing
No Payton helping with the game plan
Poor WR Play/not enough WR talent

I've said for years that outside of Colston and now Graham our WRs do not scare anyone. Without Meach stretching the field this is even more evident.

If you're going to have a system that allows you to plug in multiple undrafted FA at WR then you better have the architect of that system present.

We are an elite offensive passing team first...we will NEVER have a dominant defense as well in the salary cap era (hell there are very few "dominant defenses with the new NFL).

It is ALWAYS on the offense to lead the way and for the defense to compliment/make a few plays to compliment the O.
