Thinking about how quiet and lackluster the first 2 crowds have been, and it hit me that it's a lot like going to see the Globetrotters play. We all know they're going to beat the Washington Generals. It's just all about how much and how many exciting plays there are along the way. Just looking to be entertained.

It feels like the entire fanbase is waiting for 11/3, and anything that happens before that is just not worth the effort.

Raucous crowd was priced out years ago ...

Instead of neck and mikey going to the game we have Kafka and Rex.

LSU fans are spoiled by success. Used to be almost every game was in question, now most games are just not that competitive. Winning an SEC game 40-7 is passe.

11/3 might make the earth move though!! if everything is on par for 1 vs 2 again, it will be the absolute loudest game ever

You blow out teams regularly and you'll have quieter crowds. I don't mind that at all.

Yeah my first game ever was the one this past week, and to be honest, I was underwhelmed. It seemed I was the only one screaming for the defense in the 2nd half.

I get it, but I do wish the students were more involved. Too bad that the people there care more about being cool, getting drunk after, or whatever else. Half of the group I went with left in the 3rd, luckily the other half were cool and stayed. Or else I would have been alone.

It is, even for me, hard to stay pumped up when we are dominating our opponent and the game is 21-3 or what have you. Alabama and South Carolina should be on a whole other level...obviously.

Anyone that wanted tickets to the UW game could have gotten them. This priced out of the stadium talking point is pretty much bullshite 10 of the 12 regular season games of the year.

Outside of Bama, anybody that wants 2 or 4 tickets to a game can get them for less than face value if they don't mind putting in a little work 30-45 minutes before game time. If somebody needs 10 together or something then that's different. But I have no doubt a family of four could see every game they wanted for less than the price of season tickets. Bama will be expensive most likely, but not impossible either.

They need to pipe in more music. Nothing gets a crowd uniformaly pumped more than shitty piped in music. We have the best freaking band in the country and we play some crap over a loudspeaker.

Selling beer in TS would help. I remember many a game where the effects of pregame drinking started wearing off around halftime and I couldn't maintain the energy.

I was bored half way thru the first quarter last night. I just dont have that excited feel about this team. The defense isnt creating alot of turnovers to get the fans excited like last year. While the offense is clearly better there isnt that explosion I keep wanting to see. If I had this offense I would be going xbox on these teams and being like Spurrier in the 90s seeing how many points I could rack up. Hopefully in the 2nd half of the season when the schedule actually becomes good it will wake up.
