What has Miles got against downfield passing?

still a lot of the same sideline passing and slant type stuff used against Bama that failed. Miles has got to let Mett start throwing downfield on a consistent basis!

You clowns can cry all you want, this guy is a thrower and yet Miles is still throwing the same stupid arse sideline passes, quick slants and other garbage throwing that goes nowhere while relying mainly on the run like he always has. So don't cry when it's late January and the Tigers are just playin in a ordinary bowl game.

Fact of the matter is. Mett had his first ever D1 start last Saturday. As a coach you want to get him comfortable with quick, simple, efficient throws so that he can get up to speed. Also him mising a whole series as he was warming up Im sure didnt help the matter.While I agree we must stretch the field in every direction to beat the top tier teams I also have no problem with letting Mett get some confidence. I look for the offense to open things up against WU
