Non PPR, 8 team league

I didn't select a RB until the fourth round. I wasn't in position to grab Foster, Rice, or McCoy so I kept talking myself out of it until the fourth. FWIW, I probably would have been less likely to do this in a larger league.

I ended up with Murray, Richardson, Martin, and Bush.

What do y'all think the tiers are this year for RBs? Do you think the convention of RBs early is still valid or changing?

Dude I'm assuming you have studs at wr or TE or qb....you should be fine with those guys.

I grab a rb in rounds 1,2, and 3 every year. I have never won my league but never gotten worse than 4th out of 10. I do not think it is changing. The more teams switching to pass heavy offenses makes the wr position deeper and easier to get good picks later. Also, the rb by committee trend makes rbs at the top of the draft more valuable. Just my opinion though.

I guess looking through RBs I felt there was the Foster, Rice, and McCoy group and then a lot of factors leaving question marks and making a large group of RBs after that. Not a lot of clear separation in that group, but that was just something I have been thinking about.

That's why I was curious of people's tiering. Obviously having solid RBs is still important and I was in a 8 team (I know it sucks some guys backed out and we still did it anyways) draft.
