Jackson hit him with the crown of the helmet. Now Ritter was the same guy thatwatched JJ get slaughtered at Bama 3 years ago, so I 'm not surprised it was not called with him standing back there watching. I was wondering if it was a legal hit, that's all. Comments?

It was fine. Getting tired of every big hit being borderline penalty worthy now. Pussification of football, ugh

It was legal, Mett took it right under the chin. It was a good, clean hit.

UNT was well coached

Looked like a shoulder pad to the sternum to me. Incidental helmet contact at most. Whiplash was what got him. Even clean hits can be brutal.

That and the fact that it was grounding.
We got screwed when UNT wasn't called for grounding, when it clearly was.
