Go early and take the tickets to the LSU ticket office. They will be able to verify they are legit

go to the ticket office and tell them what happened they will give you a new ticket...ive had similar scenarios with base ball tickets

There is obviously a flaw in the design/perforated area because the same thing happen to me. When I started to tear the ticket I notice that it was tearing the bar code so I stop & hopefully saved the ticket. It looks like a hanging chad now. I hope they let me in. If not I will be joining you at the bar lol

Had the same thing happen as well. I just put a piece of tape on the back and it looks fine. I doubt they will give you shite about it.

Bring it like it is. As long as it hasn't been scanned it doesn't matter. All they will do is scan the bar code. Thats all that matters. Once a ticket has been scanned you cant use it again. If you show up with the upper part and no bar code, you will not get in. You should be fine.
