Thoughts on this Trailer I painted?

My first post on the OB ever. I thought I would use up a can of epoxy paint that I have. Mixed in a bit of sand with the paint and did this to the boards of my trailer. So far this thing is holding up like a damn champ. Anybody ever done this?

We always do the bottom of our skiff that way. It's badass.

Good idea. Trailer boards can be slick as cow shite when wet.
Are the boards pressure treated?

it helps alot.. i've painted the decks of my hunting boats and trailers and thrown sand on the top as they are drying... never have mixed it in before, why not do both?
