In Mandeville. Power has flickered a couple times but never went out for more than 2-3 seconds.

Anyone riding this thing out between Covington and Folsom? Curious if there are power outages in that area.

Reporting from downtown Hammond and power is still on with slight wind. I got gas yesterday at the truck stop on 51 by the interstate.

I drove hwy.59 at 7:45AM to check on my business. Building was fine and we had power. Also drove to Prieto marina to check on father in laws sail boat. Water looked to be three to four feet above normal. Some boats are in trouble. All I have right now. good luck to all.

I love in Normandy Oaks in Covington, but staying with the in-laws in Natchez Trace on the other side of 21 since they have a generator. We just lost power here.

Still have power west of Hammond, and Verizon still holding up at full strength.

Damn, this storm is moving slow

Why again were all the protections put in for the southshore but little to nothing for the northshore?
