It's his opinion, who cares!! I don't think a head coach makes that much of a difference but how many times has one play flipped the script on a game and that game then turns into a route. Can Carmichael call that play on 3rd & 12 when it's needed the most? That's yet to be seen. Besides, since 2006, the Saint have struggled and missed the playoffs when having a tough schedule like they do this year. And the acting coach is out for 6 games. He may be right but that's why they play the games.

It's hard to buy any of these guys now. I know opinions are opinions, but it just seems that all of them are starting to follow the Bayless philosophy: say whatever will get you noticed more. They can't back a lot of their opinions on real facts. It's just their feeling.

His play calling came agains the Colts, Rams, and Bucs. Teams with a combined 8-40 record. I don't need to tell you how one of those turned out.
