Ray Rotto votes LSU #10 in AP Poll

I know the preseason polls are generally viewed as a farce, but it is always amusing to see how far off someone ranks certain teams.
Ray Rotto of the Comcast Sports Bay Area online in San Francisco voted LSU #10 in his preseason AP poll. He voted Bama #1 and voted Texas #7. Ray Rotto Breakdown
Ira Schoffel of the Tallahassee Democrat voted LSU at #8. Everyone else had LSU at #5 or higher.
For comparison, USC was ranked no lower than #6 and Alabama had one voter rank them #9 and no one else rank them lower than #6.

They should revoke his vote. I'd feel the same way if he voted USC or Bama #10.

I think some vote in "unique" ways to draw attention to themselves. Hope he enjoys the "type" of attention he gets.

Can someone explain what is meant by "Germans"?

"Germans" is a reference to World War II, thus the reference in a thread would be "old history that's already known."

Got to be a joke. Doesn't bother me cause he looks like an idiot but eff that dude and his voting privileges.

A few years ago, instead of saying "this is old news", to be smartasses, people started posting a picture of an old newspaper... most commonly that of a newspaper declaring that Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. This evolved into saying the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor as a tribute to the scene from Animal House-- now it is simply shortened to "Germans!" without giving context.

My major mistake was not referencing TD.com. I regret that.

The term Germans as it used on this site comes from Animal House:
D-Day: [to Bluto] Let it go. War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one. Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! Otter: [to Boon] Germans? Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
...and it means that you have posted information that has been posted already.
I know, I know, don't try to figure out how one thing means the other, just go with it.
