Mathieu is like a real life Joe Kane. I really hope this guy succeeds because what he's currently doing is really courageous. Good luck Tm7.

Is this story legit?

i think it is safe to say TM7 is not going to LSU or any other school, for the time being he is addressing an illness.

anything after that would be speculation.

I'm sure if we dug through all the posts, you called literally every possibility earlier this week...

Great decision by Tyrann. Addressing the actual issue head on rather than transferring to get paid in a few months.

Hope he gets out of there completely healthy.

Uh. No.

I said he wasn't going to any school this year and wouldn't be playing football.

Just like Tyrone alluded to in his statement that no one paid attention to.

Yep. It's fairly common. Not all addictions are physical.

Alot of times there are underlying issues that drive people to substance abuse. Maybe that's just how he deals with stress. But if he has been on a road to destruction, this will help him change course.

I used to work at The Right Step when they had one in Baton Rouge. The Houston facility is a good program I heard. They will help him get back on track if he wants it. Admirable decision for that young man.

Best of luck to TM7. He's making a solid decision and with good mentoring he can get his life straight and priorities in order. Wish him a solid recovery and hope to see him make it back in school and possibly football one day.

The word addiction can really mean a compulsion to do anything that makes your life unmanageable. Whether it be weed, sex, shopping, alcohol or whatever. If it gets you in trouble in any way (legal, financial, marital etc) and causes turmoil in your life, then you have an addiction you need to deal with.
