I don't remember any of that....

If it is all speculation, how did you come up with those?

I guess I don't remember much of the Greyjoy stuff.

These two are obviously connected.

The timing of Euron's reappearance in The Iron Islands right around the same time as Balon's suspicious death leads many to believe that Euron may have paid a faceless man to kill Balon.

Euron mentions that in his travels he came into possession of a dragon egg, but that he threw it into the sea for some unknown reason.

Many believe that Euron actually traded the egg to a Faceless Man to pull off the assassination, which is why he knew exactly when to return to Pyke. This was not Jaquen necessarily, but someone from his brotherhood, which now possesses the egg and is trying to find a way to hatch it.

This is further backed up by the fact that Jaquen is almost certainly The Alchemist that kills Pate in Oldtown after getting a mysterious key from the Citadel in the Prologue chapter of A Feast for Crows.

I missed that on my read and it was pointed out to me in this thread to mind-blowing effect.

The description of the face that Jaquen transforms to when he leaves Arya is identical to the description of The Alchemist that tricks Pate into stealing this key which can open any door in The Citadel for him and then kills him.

Therefore, it makes sense that The Faceless Men somehow came into possession of a dragon egg (Euron), and are now trying to find the secrets to hatching them at The Citadel (key).

Also, after Sam meets with Archmaester Marwyn at The Citadel, who is described as the only Archmaester that believes that the dragons have been reborn and also taught Mirri Maz Duur many things, Sam encounters Pate, who we know to be dead.

Marwyn leaves to try to meet up with Dany and tells Sam to finish his studies and get back to The Wall as soon as possible. "Pate", likely Jaquen, may be trying to distract or delay Sam for some reason.
