As a wolf Jon can be very influential in the fight against the Others, but he will never get any real recognition. This seems fitting for his character.

I think he'll warg into Ghost, dead or alive (while his body heals or waits for resurrection), but very temporarily. Hopefully long enough to connect w Summer-Bran-Greenseer and know his siblings are alive and alot of the WeirwoodNet info (Tactical info on the war in the North - Ramsey's BS letter, Winterfell, Theon, Manderly, Stannis, etc...maybe even something very personal, or at least directs him to a clue hidden in the crypts (gotta happen sooner or later).

Not permanent, though. If he remains in Ghost too long, he becomes Ghost. As a full-blown Direwolf, he simply won't care - about anything but pack-life. Man's struggle for survival will become meaningless to him, much less who sits in what chair.

I think that if he does warg into Ghost it will be extremely short lived. IIRC, there is some kind of caveat about bringing people back to life R'hollr style. Like when Beric brings back Cat, Thoros tells him that it has been to long but he does it anyway.

The reason that Beric was so good after being killed and resurrected was the time frame for his resurrections. This also the reason that Un-Cat looks more like a Walking Dead character.

I think those expecting several chapters or even an entire book of John in Ghost are going to be disappointed. The rules of ASOIAF are against your theory.
