Speaking of PD, Jordan Prentice makes a good Oppo. Not only cuz he's a dwarf, but he resembles PD - specially with longer hair. He was in "In Bruges"

24 hrs later:

So I'm killing time, surfing the web, finally convincing myself that Daniel Craig (I know, too expensive) is just too gdamnd old to play Rhaegar, anyway...sadly leaving me with "Eric" from Trueblood as still my solid #1 (Orlando Bloom? yak! I'd pay him NOT to.)

So, anyway, was giving Heath Ledger a (less than enthusiastic) post-humus look (The Patriot, 2000)when I seem to have stumbled into the Red Viper himself in the form of (Col. William Tarvington) Jason Isaacs. Dude's entire performance mirrors Prince Oberyn's cocky-and-can back-it-up-personality, and the fact that these pics are almost 15 years old, makes Isaac's age even better...I know, it doesn't keep with my mid eastern/ Egyptian ethnicity idea, he's British, but this expression just screams, Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

And, he's British!
(most of the cast is, get it?)

here's a cool art image of RV, for comparison

Can't you just see it?

"You raped her...

"You murdered her...

"You killed...

"HER CHILDREN!!

(Yeah, my kingdom for a shot with a spear, instead)
