IIRC the role that had to "tower over other men" or something to that effect, only had to be like 6'0" tall. I would guess this is an average to taller than average casting.
Kit, for example, is only 5'8". Hard to tell much from their height other than them not being outrageously large or small.

Kit may Be listed at 5'8 but no way that guy is over 5'6

So this has probably been discussed, but what do people think will happen to Daenerys at the start of the next book/season? Carried off to Vaes Dothrak? Returns with a Khalasar? Something else entirely?
One of the things that makes me curious is the difference between the book and the show. Having Drogon there vs not seems to make a significant difference to me changes her outlook.

I think Drogon is going to swoop down and save her by setting the leader of the khalasar on fire. Then the others might bow down to dany and join forces with her

Very possible. I'm just not sure why Drogon wasn't by her side in the show, though there could be a few reasons.

I think this thread is like the stock market or something that has a psychological resistance to milestone numbers. It's been closing in on 1000 pages for what seems like months now.

Sorry, I didn't read the "the" in your first sentence, and thought you were saying you hoped it would be out before next season.
Christmas 2016 would make a lot of sense, especially if GRRM wants to capitalize on the holiday spending spree.
