They can't just skip starts. I would prefer they go to a six man rotation and bring in Lannan. I think that would help a lot.

If i was a Nats season ticket holder I would be beyond pissed that they would throw away a postseason run for this. Unless he has shown signs of arm distress or fatigue i dont really see a reason to do this

I thought they should have done this awhile ago. I don't watch the Nats on a regular basis but Lannan isn't exactly a liability when he pitches every 6 games is he?

But then they lose an arm in the bullpen... thats a big issue for an NL team when it comes to late inning matchups
