I had this thread typed out and ready to submit this morning, but then I saw the Gamescon disclaimer. So ready for some actual news on this game. Hopefully Valve was just upset because they wanted to break the news. I'll probably be disappointed.

At the 0:24 mark, there is a Half Life logo, and I swear that looks like a 3 in the corner. This was posted by the ValveTime.net FB page. Maybe we are being trolled, but there is a lot of smoke lately for there not to be a fire.

Valve's not one to push developers to finish something/rush something to meet an arbitrary deadline. Good, because they rarely (if ever) release shitty products. Bad, because they can take a long time to release really good products.
